Cost of Poorboy Plans on CD &/or DVD.
The plans for the PoorBoy Little Dragon Model PB-1 are $75.00 with a video
demo included.
The plans have a 10 page introduction that is similar to the internet web
site, 40 pages of additional text related to the actual building, the materials
list, 30+ pictures and 25+ diagrams. A number of additional drawings in
different formats have been supplied by other interested parties and builders in
various software formats (included for informational purposes but Poorboy is not
the creator and computer format may require some research).
Please Note that you will need to choose a covering system and paint, and do
center of gravity adjustments with calculations, the instructions for these
operations are not covered in these plans, but some sources of where to obtain
these directions are listed.
You will get a numbered set of plans in CD ROM format and that number is part
of your aircraft serial Number. exp. Model & S/N PB1-0024.
A DVD VIDEO IS INCLUDED.
The first part of the video is about 30 minutes long and it does a good
job showing the PoorBoy flying without wing tips, with droop tips, with
two different windshield enclosures and two wing dihedral settings.
The second part of the video is a close-up of assemblies and the mechanics
of the plane. The second part of the video is not a step-by-step building
instruction type video, it is has a poor narrative but does give a closer look
at the aircraft assemblies and controls. Video shot on a 700ft runway, no
brakes on the plane.
